bottoming out

i got an 02 xc 600sp its got the fox shocks, my rear suspension is bottoming out really bad over bumps that shouldnt bottom it out, i rode my dads xc 500 and its way better to ride. my springs are tightened and their is no sag just wondering if the shock is f***ed or if you can get them recharged.

Depending on your weight the fox shocks sometimes need to be revalved. Are they the floats that you can set the pressure yourself?

I have the same problem w my Ryde FX shocks, I have the dial adjustment set all the way on firm and i can bottom it out easily, and I'm a light rider. Can these be recharged?
