Just randomly decided to go for a ride to sweep the river? Better them finding the body then one of us I suppose.

ya that's certainly odd... and got the idea from Saskatchewan?? They randomly check rivers for corpses there? Wow!

The ferry operators here are told if they see a body they need to grab a hold of it and call the RCMP. Fairly common for these guys to see bodies floating by I guess. If the first ferry operator misses it one of the other 4 down the river should catch it. One operator told me he just looks the other way if he sees something floating by.
