Hi All,

BRPP grooms Groundhog and North Blue once a week every week, with the exception of last week. Grooming was suspended last week due to users not respecting and in some cases threatening the trail head attendants. After a week of encouragement from the many riders that support and appreciate our efforts we have decided to countinue with the grooming program. We would like to apologize to the riders that had to brave the rough trails this past week.

In the future we ask that you direct your comments to the BRPP directly and respect the poeple that work in the field.

With the province wide closures for Caribou recovery all clubs have been given the donting task of managing thier area's with no finacal support from the government. This is why it is important for everyone to support our efforts.

Your donation at the trail head dose not only fund the grooming. It pays for the parkinglot clearing, mapping, permitting, signage, trail upgrades and more.
We are doing the best we can with what we have.

Matt and Steve just got in from grooming Groundhog/Salmon and the North Blue was done on Feb 8th. So don't forget your donation money as the booths will be manned (girled) from Thursday on.

We want you, we need you, and we will keep working for you!!!!!!!!!!!

Please come and enjoy our world class snowmobile destination.

Ride Safe..........

not trying to be a dick here, but it seems the ones who were punished for the senseless act of ignorance were the sledders and the local economy of Blue River. it may take a while via word of mouth that grooming has resumed, not everyone is internet saavy. hope your decision does not turn against you.

Good work guys, sorry to hear about the abuse at the booth, there is absolutly no excuse for that. It would be a real shame if grooming were to come to a stop in Blue River permanantly, that would be a real hit to the local economy and to all who love the place. It would make your life considerably easier though wouldn't it? Even MW benefits from a strong local economy contrary to his business model. Even though I only get up there a couple of times a year right now thanks for your efforts and the efforts of all BRPP members. Have fun this weekend I truly wish I could be there for the festivities. :Snowmobile1::Snowmobile1:

We were not trying to punish anyone, we just needed a break from the frustration.

Keep up the good work guys...your hard work is appreciated by many of us...too bad for the bad apples out there. Last time we sledded in Blue we had a sled go down on us on the trail and the boys on the groomer loaded it up and gave us there's to ride out so nobody had to tow...Thanks again Steve it was greatly appreciated...The "Shocker Crew"

The "dead" Sled by the way was a Cat...It apparently didn't care to be on the groomer for the ride out as it "jumped" off somewhere along the way...lol. Thanks again guys.

Hi all,

Groomed Salmon Lake and up to 4 km on Grounghog on Sunday. The boys had a great day. Due to the wet snow and rain it has made it difficult to deal with the bumps on the trail, with cool weather in the forcast we will do what we can to get the bumps out befor the weekend. We will be grooming Salmon/Groundhog Wednesday and North Blue Thursday (keep an eye out for the groomer).

Our ladies will be out collecting donations, and if you don't see someone at the booth you can always drop off your donation at the Glacier Mt. Lodge.
Thankyou again for all your support.

Hi all,

Steve finished grooming Groundhog and Salmon last night. He said there was over a foot of fresh powder on the top of the Grounghog trail.

He is grooming North Blue as we speak.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Don't forget Dinner and UFC at the Legion Saturday @ 7:00 p.m.

Cheers!!!!!!

Hi all,

Thankyou all for the support this past weekend............

The boys road Groundhog, Big Blue, and Holy Grail.........

They had a great time, but..........

They blew up 4 sleds, called for 2 heil rides out (sleds not people), and my boy Taylor will be in a knee brace for 4 weeks..........

Steve groomed North Blue again yesterday Feb 21 st (our heli sled rescue day) and will be back out again to both Salmon/Groundhog and North Blue this week before the weekend.

Ride Safe..........

Thanks again,
