With our membership's safety and wellbeing as our top priority, and in light of recent restrictions on public events in British Columbia, we've made this difficult decision to postpone our upcoming Annual General Meeting and Excellence Awards scheduled for April 4, 2020. We appreciate the time clubs took to answer our survey last week and the thoughtful comments provided. We have decided to move the AGM and Excellence Awards to the BCSF Club Congress scheduled for September 26, 2020 and will be confirming a location in the coming weeks.
The nomination packages for Board Positions that were up for election were circulated to all member clubs in February and March. We only received nominations from the incumbents (person that holds the position now) for positions with no challenges. Therefore, it was decided that the existing Board of Directors will remain in their positions until the AGM in September.
To support the Fernie Snowmobile Association and the community of Fernie the BCSF Board has decided not to put the 2021 Annual General Meeting to clubs for bid but instead direct award the 2021 Annual General Meeting to the community of Fernie. The work that the Staff and Board of the Fernie Snowmobile Association did in preparation for this event was amazing and we look forward to working with them again next year! The Fernie Mountain Lodge – Best Western has been very supportive and has allowed us to cancel with no financial penalty to the BCSF which is also very much appreciated.

Accommodation - For those of you who have already made reservations in Fernie we ask that you please contact the hotel directly to cancel any existing room reservations.

Tickets - We will be providing a full refund for all AGM tickets purchased and you should see a credit in the next few days. Tickets will be refunded back to the card they were purchased with.
