Ball joint removal on lower a arm on cm

How the fawk? Man what a pita between the skid plate ect... Got the arm removed how do you pull the ball joint any help would be appreciated!

remove the circlip and proceed to start smashing it with BFH. Add heat if necessary.

Easiest way to get it back in is freeze it and heat the arm then use a big socket over the taper that catches edge and press it in with your bench vice.

Easiest way to get it back in is freeze it and heat the arm then use a big socket over the taper that catches edge and press it in with your bench vice.

A can of keyboard duster air. Turn can upside down and spray.
Instantly freezes the ball joint.

Works great!

The Ball Joint Separator from Princess Auto works really well to get the joint out of the spindle. Had a good laugh at the S36 install kit instructions - the ski-doo puller they tell you to use is over $500.00. Definitely not buying that one.

Always used a large vise and sockets to remove / install the ball joint into the A-arms (like Bnorth)

Got er done heated it and popes out with a hammer hit the ball joint with a fire extinguisher and the aarm with a torch got it 3 quarters in with vice and socket started to bend the vice handle so took it next door and got it pressed what a bitch those are all set for the weekend now hanks so much for the help everyone!!!
