i myself try to take every precaution i can possibly do before heading out. if the risks are to high, you play somewhere else. i am not a thrill seeker and enjoy the element of surprise with a avalanche. its a recreational hobby i want to keep enjoying years to come, and come home to my wife and kids every day. the key to survival is get educated get geared up and listen to the warnings.
