Picked myself up an Apple tv.

Rent or buy HD movies, tv shows, music, You Tube and internet radio.

I've watched a few movies and it is impressive. Sound and picture is just like watching Blu Ray. I thought download time might be an issue but when you watch a movie it takes less than a minute to get going.

The unit itself runs off of either a cable or wireless through a router. HDMI output as well as component outs.

Purchases can be made via credit card or just like buying itunes on the gift cards.

You can also stream media from your computer to it as well.

Also picked up a MacBook Pro as well, never going back to pc.

Highly recommend.

I love the idea of a mac. I've been craving an iphone to replace one of my blackberries. The ipad looks great too, but I just can't help but worry I won't be able to do everything I want to do and I'll have a whack of cash tied up into the toys. I must say windows 7 has fixed many of my gripes and therefore I've held off.

I download numerous programs to try out each week. I also download bit torrents frequently. I'm afraid that I would be stuck buying everything from the apple store, as it won't be available for free on the net.

You'd be surprised.

I down load the torrents all the time. More than enough programs out there for the mac. Try it you'll never go back.........

You can still downloat bit torrents and anything off limewire and get it faster than your pc does. Mac also has much better programs and many of them are free. Installing and unistalling programs takes second with just a dragand drop.
