hello wondering if anyone was at kakwa over the weekend and how the road in and the snow is holding up. plan on going in tomorow morning
any updates on kakwa conditions???

was just there on saturday. roads was in good shape some of the snow pack was starting to fall apart around the lakes to the parking lot... there was about a foot of powder and good base underneath... didnt go very far cause it snowed pretty much the whole day.

Was also in on Sat., went in early south of Cecilia Lake. found some good 2-3 ft of fresh, the sun was in & out until around 1 pm, then it started snowing in that area. The groomed trail in was in good shape, two lakes road was muddy coming out until around KM 115, then it was pretty good after that. Way better shape than I figured it would be in for this time of year.
