made the mistake of taking the 5 year old decals off my stf deck in attempt to polish. obviously i failed and either it needs to be gone over 1000 times or the aluminum is damaged and wont polish out to origional like under the stickers? i can see my reflection in it but its dull in comparison.

any advice? better polishes? or get boydo to take care of it lol?

Start with a 800 wet paper and get finer from there...Dont wanna go too coarse right off the bat

2 or 3 cans of gravel guard, a couple beer, an hour of your time, and voila....no need to ever polish again.

Ive always used the clay bars with a buffer (green, red then white). can get all from princess auto for a decent price.

that looks really good i want to get mine to look like that
did you hand sand it or use a machine ?
do you sand straight or in a circular motion or does it matter

best guess is he used that drill that's sitting right there on the deck in the photo....
