airbox mod

Has anyone drilled holes in there airbox plate like the one bmp sells. Anybody notice a 3 hp gain like they say?

Ya same I did it too and did bunch of other stuff so I can't say either. Do it if you're ever taking it appart or bored on day ️Hahah won't hurt.

Did you just cut the holes with a hole saw? Bmp says 3 hp that a pretty good gain for cutting some holes. I qas also wonderig if you got anymore intake noise

I drilled 3 holes and also cut the rubber boots at a angle towards the throttle bodies. This was recommended by carls cycle on my 660.

I only got intake noise when I took the horns out of the hood then it got loud. But for feeling a difference no I can't say I could but in all fact it improves the air flow in the motor so maybe 1 hp gain or so. But noise was a lot louder
