AC ECU trouble codes and Recalls

so basically i should just phone cat give them my s/n and see if there is a recall for it? I know that mine threw the ecu code because it got hot(egts) because i was doing a long pull...1389 max egt... threw the code on the way down after i let off. Just curious if i should get the ecu recall done (if it applies) for my M8T? And then my dads m1000 just shut off for no reason... not pulling no load on the engine... nothing. ran good all day... like i said above speedwerx pipe ypipe can and boondocker box. ecu issue or stator? also since it has the aftermarket mods is it recomended to get the update/recall on the m1000 ecu?

I have a CCU code with wrench not flashing, I had it go away for like 10 minutes, under load sled chits the bed,

whats the CCU code mean anyone? thx

CCU stands for chassy control unit.
the ccu and wrech.
i've heard that if you blow a belt theres i little sensor on the
left side right where your foot goes under and its two wires
i've heard of when you blow a belt sometimes it hits that sensor and f's it
up. but instead of a new sensor you can just cut the wires but im not sure if you leave them open or tie them together
you just wont have a backup alarm

i would get the recall done on the m8 but like i said with the m1000
if you have any mods i wouldnt reccomend gettin it flashed.
our boss is at the cat convention in vegas right now and cats commin out
with a 2010 M8 HO.

wow 160 out of the box... any news on how much it will weigh? maybe a 16 wide track under there? that would be nice... keep us posted... maybe a pic or two as well?

no news on wieght yet my boss will be back thurs but ill keep you posted on here as i know. its gonna have a differnt tunnel and seat so some possible weight loss. there gonna still be using the PowerClaw track
