Anyone in Airdrie have a M series clutch puller I could borrow for a box of beer?

I have got the 9/16" UNF bolt sitting in my truck needed for the water method, it is the only way I seem to be able to get off my M7 clutch. I am in Airdrie and would be happy to lend it to you.

I've got the bigger fine thread tool (I think it was closer to 3/4s?) for the water trick. I bought extra material so if you need the bigger one I could make you your own tool.

true whats the water metheod and its cheaper to buy the puller and just carry it with u

What M series you have? My m7 uses a 9 /16 fine thread. My 2008 m1000 uses a 14mm fine thread. But found out on the 2008 m1000 you can use the primary bolt to do the water trick.It treads threw clutch and then into crank. On the m7 you cant.I have both bolts to do the job.

2010 - 2011 M-8, CROSSFIRE 8, F-8
2007 - 2011 M-1000 CROSSFIRE 1000 F-1000
2007 - 2011 1100 4-STROKE MODELS

PM sent, I am home all this week.

I have a 2009 M8 clutch on my M7 and the 9/16 unf bolt I have worked on the stock 2005 M7 clutch and the 2009 M8 clutch I replaced it with.

i used the water method and it works slick.tip sled on side remove clutch bolt,wrap threads of bolt with lots of teflon tape,fill with water,thread bolt back in.i recommend not going to tight but rather use a heat gun on the clutchshaft to massage it off so to speak.the reason is when it lets go, its less violent(not to the point the clutch shoots across the room or anything lol.)just makes a bigger bang the more pressure you put on it.

I did the water with heat method. (Boiling water) And it works to say the least. If you heat the center if the clutch with the bolt in tight with the water it will literally blow the clutch right off.
