Last month we picked up my wife a left over 2014 ttr-230 dirtbike. Since then we have been out on 3 rides with a total of 6-7 hours of actual riding time. So i changed the oil and filter in her bike and this is what i pulled out with the filter. Also noticed a bit of paint and dirt come out of the drain. This is the first yamaha bike I have ever owned (grew up on kawasaki and KTMs) but this seems like a ridiculous amount of break in material for such low hours. And by break in material, I mean something is obviously wrong lol. I am going to bring the filter into the dealer after the weekend and see what they say. Although I am sure they are going to tell me to keep riding it and see what happens. Bike runs great otherwise. The electric start is a nice touch for her lol.
