K, I need to get one more year out of my 05 900 rmk. I put a dynaport pipe on it last year, thats the only thing I can think that might affect this...I can't get it to stay running when I try to put it in reverse! sometimes if I hold the idle just right it works, but never back to fwd, it always stalls. I know, I know, get rid of it, can anyone help?

My 06 did the same thing. The doctors office changed the stator and that seemed to work.

don't know how acurate this is, but i was told that stalling when going into reverse is a sign of worn out rings...

Hard to go in reverse, is a good indication of low compression on a Doo. I would also look at the clutch's, and belt. Ya never know???
