670 idle

ya thats what i thought mine was idle at like 3200 so i had the shop turn it down and they had to adjust the cables now it idles at 1800 but will only go to 6500 and has like no power, and my neighbours idles at 3200 also so i wasnt sure if i should turn it back up again

If this is during warm up then do not adjust it, it will eventually idle down once it warms up.

You shouldn't have to adjust the cables to change the idle, just the idle screw...

why would the shop adjusts the cables? you just turn the screws down on the carbs? now its probally open the carbs half way

it would idle this high all the time, the idle screws didnt adjust it at all, so they had to adjust the cables
