3.0L OMC Inboard

I was wondering if anyone had coverted this motor over to breakerless ignition or electronic ignition. My motor is 1986 vintage with points. Would be nice to get rid of the points but I have not found a kit other than in the states.

Anybody know anything?

should be able to use a dist. out of any 3.0 ltr gm engine. did they not have hei on the auto ones?

Just make sure that you get a proper marine distributer, If you dont you risk blowing your bilge and engine area up, also shops will not work on your boat if they find non marine parts on your boat, puts marine mechanics at risk as well as your family,
