I don’t think a lot of purists will buy in, however a $60000 starting price I think they will sell lots.

It’s a bold move to leave the tried and true FR layout but I think this will put Chevy as a serious contender for the mid engine sports car segment. I’m curious to see when a Z06 or ZR1 variant comes about. Hopefully this car inspires ford and dodge to do something similar. The world needs more sports cars and less crossovers

Nice looking car. The vettes are always sweet looking cars. 495 hp is sub par for that car though IMO. Doesn't the Cadillac supercharged model make more hp? With the Camaro being phased out by Chevy in the next couple years that car should be the bread winner in hp numbers I'm thinking?

could always twin turbo it, if 500hp isn't enough for you.

I think that HP number is low for the price and the type of car. Hellcat has 200hp more for approximately the same price.

Hellcat redeye is 105CDN approx, for just under 800hp.

I wonder what the price tag on the Big engine Corvette’s will be. I read 120-130 US.

yeah it's a mid engine, poor mans super car though.not a muscle car like a hell cat.

compared to a Ferrari or lamBo the price is a bargain.

I love the hell cat, but the corvette is just sexy lol
490 h/p and under 3 seconds for 80k and will compete with the 911 turbo for a fraction of the price, now the Corvette just needs to step up and offer all wheel drive to launch
