Anyone have any info on Blue's snow conditions yet? Whatever Vale gets they usually get more. Getting anxious to head to the hills, any solid info much appreciated!!

Did anyone ride this past weekend or did the cold keep everyone inside?

We rode Sunday Monday. I only rode Sunday. Had some sled issues but there was maybe two feet of fresh in the trees in groundhog on top of an excellent base. Wouldn't be worries about hitting rocks at all anymore. Guys probed 175cm the second day.

We made it into Foam on Sunday. Took a while to get through the timber. Lots of snow in there. Not a single track to be seen. We barely touched it as it took so long to break trail. It's all ready for someone to shred.

rode Monday and Tuesday, trail was great, and snow was deep, not a lot of base, smoked a couple of rocks but pretty good ride, rode ground hog both days!

any idea on grooming or when /if they are putting the bridge in across the creek to foam from ground hog parking lot

Grooming has begun on the Finn creek trail to Groundhog, We are expecting to have the bridge in around the 20th. It requires a consultant to supervise installation and a whole bunch of rules attached to the permit, which we still don't have.

IMAG0157.jpg IMAG0156_BURST003.jpg Spent all day in Redsands riding untouched pow.

Redsands Parking lot, 2km's north of Blue River (turn in at the 12' Grizzly bear), access Holy Grail, Paradise, White River, Finger Bowls, and Redsands all from this Parking area. All area's are groomed to date other than Finger bowls, waiting for more lower elevation snow.

Finn Creek staging area is open. Access Salmon, Groundhog East & West, and Foam creek. All area's are groomed except Foam Creek, waiting on lower elevation snow to build bridge across Finn Creek.

So the trail into Holy Grail/Paradise/White River is being regularly groomed this season?

The BRPPS have hired a second groomer to maintain trails north of town this season. Holy Grail/Big Blue/Paradise/Horseshoe(North Blue RD), White River, Fingers, and Redsands will be groomed regularly.
