2011 etec no reverse

just bought an etec and it had the recall done one tank ago last winter. thought it was the switch changed that and still nothing the reverse worked a couple times after the recall

Make sure the belt deflection isnt too tight. Does it just die when you hit the button?if so, loosen the belt just a hair and see if that works.

I believe the fuses and inter posing relay are on the right side by your foot

So tool sled apart today and everything looks good . Have a question last owner
Installed a battery to run accessories
And it was stone dead and will not take a charge will this affect the ECU and not let reverse work?
One more question my secondary will not close I've never seen a secondary stay open 1/2 way before the belt is loose and I can not make it close and bring the belt to the top

its pretty easy to plug the connectors one pin over from where it should be in the multi-function swtich

K it runs with out battery I thought it should . But I have no power at both the 30A and 5A fuse we tested it while running and the lights work

Now figure me this reverse works but I need a charged battery when battery is dead it don't work
