2009 XP 800 Throttle cable

This is probably written on this forum somewhere but has anyone changed a throttle cable on an XP? Do you have to tilt the motor forward to disconnect and reconnect the oiler? I was going to pull my carbs tonight but it still looks like its going to be tight. I was hoping i could pull the cable apart and reuse the oil cable half. I only have a issue with my throttle cable up by the bars.

changed one with the motor out, just can't see how you could do it without tilting the motor installed. unless you have very small hands and incredible dexterity.

Cable is changed!! Had to pull carbs and fuel pump!! Left reeds in place and somehow managed to do it!!

i did this on my 08 with the engine tilted forward and STILL had huge troubles! they sure do pack em tight these days.
