Want to pull the carburetors apart and clean them up well as there has been some idling issues and bottom end bog. Wasn't doing this last season and the fuel stayed in tank and am thinking is partially gunked up.
Have everything apart and removed. But cannot see how to remove the throttle cable from the carburetors properly. I am thinking there must be a easy way.

Any help or quick pic/video would be appreciated.

Tried searching on here but didn't come up with anything.

The slide valves of the carburetor have a green tint to them. Antifreeze green. Is this due to the heated antifreeze running through for freezing conditions and normal or is there another issue?

Undo the nut, stretch the throttle cable up and out of the bracket. Then the cable end there is a slot. You have to flip the cable backwards to the direction of pull so it lines up with the slot, then slide the knob on the end of the cable out of the throttle linkage sideways. Hard to explain, but once you see it you will understand
