I am into buying, this week a 09 summit 800 154. Anyone here now whos got the best price in Alberta right now? I have phoned Raven in Ft Mac 11600 all in. I have a price quote in with Riverside, and waiting. I have talked to Martin and he says out of 09s. I want the best deal possible, with a few extras in (BRP fuel can, cover, maybe a can too) all for around the 11600 or lower, or am I just hoping for nothing?

For just the sled that seems a little high for a 09 must not be the X package

10500 in grassland for 09 everest 154

Yes plus tax and all the accessories I bought with it and install and tax on it. I did really well at Wetaskiwin. I actually called him today and am having more goddies added to it today. Scratchers, rail stiffner, tunnel stiffner, a stiffer rear spring (270lbs here lol) so I think I did alright, not mention I have only heard great things about the sales and service they offer

Hi

I'm looking at buying the exact same machine this week. Just waiting for local dealer to come back with a quote. So you got a 09 Summit 154 for 10500 plus taxes? Is that right?

Hey Wombat I want to get a pm from you after you ride most of the season the 154 if you feel you should have got the 163 or not. Thanks and good luck with the purchase hopefully you got a sled that was built on a good day. Not that there are many not so good builds. :):)

10200 plus tax, then added can, jerry can, cover for 10600 plus tax. I said earlier too I added rail stiffners, tunnel stiffners, scratchers, stiffer rear spring, brought price up not too bad

If Windsor RV in Grand Praire has any left give them a call. I paid 9400 for my 09 last year. They lost there ski doo licence so they are blowing them out. Good deals on parts too.

Well... What can I say. If anyone is still reading this post here's the outcome of my Sled purchase. Today I just purchased a 2010 M8 Snow Pro 162. I was a heart beat away from buying the Summit 800. The local dealer was going to give me a smoking deal and in the end I did pay more for the Cat. I went with the Cat because I think it's built a bit tougher than the Summit. I'm 285 lbs and 6'4" and when I compared the Summit to the M8 I think the tunnel is much stronger on the M8. I have concerns about the strength of the summit. I honestly don't think it will be able to handle the type of abuse someone my size can put on it. I would need to beef up the tunnel the second I take it out of the showroom. I would need to put on an extra bumper just to be able to tow with it. Mountain Sleds not much good unless you can tow out your buddy. I also think "for me" that I will be able to handle the M8 better than the summit because it won't take a month or more to learn how to ride the machine. Maybe the biggest issue I have with the Summit is that some of them do have Mechanical Issues. Nothing I've read or heard about the M8 is there really any mention about Mechanical issues with the motors. No Driveshaft issues. Sure every manufacturer has it's problems and I'm sure Arctic Cat has their fair share. I just get the feeling that the M8 is going to suit my needs better than the Summit. Well I gotta go for ride now. I'll let ya all know how the sled works out. I'll see you all at the top! I'll be the guy on the hill with the permanent smile!

Congrats on your purchase, I am sure you will enjoy it. I love my summit, but thats my preference in a sled.
