2009 can am 650 fuel gauge issue

Hey fellas

on my 2009 can am the fuel gauge on the dash when u start it up will show fuel in the tank after riding a bit it will go to empty there is gas in the tank. So I shut the bike off. And restart a while later and it will so gas then will go to empty again and start flashing. Bottom line is never stays on same reading to long.
Any suggestions. Thanks mike

Boy you are having a day aren't you? bad sender maybe? I am thinking this may also be related to your other problem. Some fuel pump units were proven to be troublesome.

Read about issues with the wire plug at fuel tank with both these issues i would start there
