2008 Honda foreman eshift wont shift.

Problem: 2008 Honda Foreman w/electric shift often wont shift on the fly. I get up to say 4th gear and then it wont shift up or down. Once i kill it and restart then it shifts fine until i get going again. It's getting worse.

make sure your battery is good first. then take the shift/angle sensor out and check it.

had the same problem on our foreman. Battery was good, worked most of the time but once in a while would get stuck in gear. took it to the dealer and it ended up being a shorted out wire.

My dad had this happen on his rancher and it was the shift solenoid pretty easy fix and cheap known to fail around here quite a bit
