I'm thinking of putting some new heads on my sled this summer, I understand the 07 800r is only 11:1 ratio. Was thinking of going up to 13:1 to run on 91 or 93 octane. But was wondering if maybe a little higher compression and some race fuel would benefit more? any sugestions would be great.

i would buy the slp performance edition kit get the domes for 3000-6000ft if that is what elevations you usually ride. You get the head the domes, y pipe, muffler and air intake it makes a big difference on your sled and i just use [premium fuel oh you can also get the v force reeds as well.

I have the v-force reeds, and full slp exhaust. So all I need to do is the heads, but just not sure what compression ratio to go to. Thanks for the help.

I have a RKT HEAD With 13.5 domes in it that are brand new. Stock compression on 07 is 12.2 to 1. Get alot better economy and cooling with these heads. Ran 14to 1 on my 05 noticable better milage and dropped about 10 degres on average. You can run 14 to 1 on the 07's but will have to take it easy until you get up above 4 to 4500 feet.
