2005 M7 Handlebar Riser

Ok I wanted to put on a telescopic riser for my sled and then was told I could not do that beacuse the lines are to short?

I was also told I could only put a 2" riser because of lines.

I want atleast a 4" and ideally telescopic.

So I guess my question is what are you guys doing for risers on your 05 M7's, as I definatley need to do something. Any ideas or sugestions would be welcomed - also I have heard of guys lengthening there lines - if so is this hard or expensive?

Really I am just looking for ideas and if anyone has something they would like to sell I am open to that also.

I have a 06 m7 and run a 3.5" rox riser and have plenty of room with my cables.all stock cables no extensions.

I had an 06 m7 with rsi 6'' riser w/carbon fiber mountain bars with a three inch rise in them plus a .75 t-plate riser so 9.75 inches of rise on my bars wich equaled out at 2'' over stock height and no problems at all. Had telescopic riser on it as well and it worked had to get the brake extension cable but after that fit was great. These sleds have some extra cable wrapped and bunched up behind the sterring post wich will give you an extra inch or so of cable
