2004 kingcat 900 driveshaft

Is there any other options for the 2004 kingcat 900 for a driveshaft than a stock OEM one - because I've snapped 2 now on this old girl and I'm not really wanting to nuke a 3rd one - I had a bit of track spin and once my track hit the sled deck ramp - snapped as snapped can be

I'll give him a call today - I'm wondering if a person could change the chaincase and PTO side bearing in order to accept a different driveshaft like a Doo one or something - that hex shaft is a huge piece of sh*t - if I see a wolf I'm gonna stick em

I've already got a weapon - just gotta figure out how to make the driveshaft about a 1000 times stronger

Turns out - I ordered the wrong sprocket it spun on the shaft - I tried gearing it down - anyone have any 15wide chains and 43T bottom or bigger for the kingcat? Called CR racing today no answer - was gonna try drag racing it this weekend at the airport

Did you ever find another drive shaft..? (realize you're problem is the sprocket, but thought you may have found a shaft before discovering the other issue)

Make sure if you take that top sprocket off in the chaincase for whatever reason , it is resessed and only goes on one way . I got a set of brand new reeds for that sled if you want em . 12 Coors light!

Turned out my driveshaft was still good - my lower sprocket I ordered in the spring was like 1.5mm to big for the splines on the end of the driveshaft - turns out you can only run from a 43 tooth to a 40 tooth in the ol' beast

Thanx - running the the vforce reeds in it - I really wish I woulda did some better research before ordering this wrong lower sprocket - oh well

Yup I modded and spent a ton of money screwing around with my 2005 Kingcat , loved the sled but eventually upgraded, see if I can find a pic of mine

Running 500jets on twin D's and my egt's are saying 500f @8000rpm scared to lean it down cuz anytime I do it melts in the midrange

I was lucky , 05 was the first year fuel injection! Saved a lot of fawki around !
