Bought a used Skidoo 700 Summit sled for my kids. What brand of exhaust can worked the best for these motors - or is better to keep the stock one on? I realize most cans don't make any more power. Anybody have one they want to get rid of? I will hopefully be at the sled show on Saturday. The guy I bought it from put a factory can from a 800 motor - it doesn't fit quite right.

I really liked my Dynoport I had on my ZX, had some tone to it but wasn't ear ringing loud by any means. In the ZX's the exhaust was a little different on the 800's and some 700's. For example in 2000 and 2001 the pipe is a little different at the end where the can attaches to it compared to the 02/03. It also drops through the belly pan in a slightly different spot. 2002 they moved it ahead slightly and in 2003 on the 800's (not sure about the 700) the y-pipe and pipe is different but you can use the 2002 can.

Just a couple things I learned pissing around with exhaust on those sleds.
