Hi Everyone

We received our first snow fall to day. 10-15 cm really wet but its coming.I really need help on how to remove my pirmary clutch. My dealer tells me that my weights are sticking and Iam running stock right now 10/56.Dealer tells me they are to light for this elevation.I am guessing we are around 2500 mountains not sure.

Cheers

You need to purchase or borrow a clutch removal tool. You screw it into the clutch where it bolts to the crankshaft and the tool will pop it off. Check to see if the weights have been cutting into the center piece of the clutch...if so then you will probably need a whole new clutch. Usually when the clutch is sticking it is from the weights cutting into the center piece. This is caused by the too much wear on the bushings in the weights. If you change the bushings and bolts before it gets that bad you can get a lot more life out of a clutch. Also, if you clean and lube the clutch regularly it will last a lot longer.
