Hey I'm new here and I need help.
My 2000 RMK Brake Light is driving me nuts. The sled is virtually new( 1300miles). The brake light works only when you rev it up a bit, At an idle nothing, not even a low brake light like you would expect. I have headlight(high and low) ,tail lights but as soon as you rev it up with the brake lever pulled it comes on then idle down and it stays on but lower brightness, but as soon as you let off and pull the brake again nothing.
I checked the light housing(looks brand new inside), ground is good, took seat off, all wires and connections are good???
My buddy also has a 2000 700 RMK and it does the same thing but he put a LED brake light on and his problem went away. Maybe this is a normal thing with these sleds, But my 98 700 RMK doesn't do this.
I dont know??? any suggestions??
