we are looking at the GARMIN 610 are they any good .like the way point on it the 655 is better but over 500.00

i would recommend staying away from the 610, the 655 has the camera, how many cameras do you need? go with the 650, seen them as low as $400 at gps city calgary, 2 watts in canada, they can be upgraded with us software if you have a us ip address. talk to dale delug he has a good handle on the garmin rinos.

650 or 655 not the 610
the garmin radio are great for polling each other, we ride in the trees alot, great for finding people stuck out of site, and so handy to have your gps right there with you

I just picked up a 650 this week.... Wholesale sport has them on for $399

I am not an Internet geek. I would like so more info on that if you have done it. Would like to get the 5 watts on a canadian 650.

we got 2- 650 now we have to find down loads for maps not sure with is the best has anyone used topo canada west or is there better maps will need 2 so i don't want to waste money

Hey pops.
Use the Topo Canada software down load and the Back Roads micro sd card for whatever province you like, it's the best combination I've found so far. You'll like it.

Don't forget to hook your 650 up to the computer and go to the Garmin website, register it and download the software update
