1/8 mile drag race gearing

Looking for advice on a succesful set-up 2001 RMK 151"SP

currently run EPI (yellow) high engagement spring
10-60 weights = 8200 rpm
stock secondary
stock gearing @ 20/39 with 68 chain
151"x2" paddle
PSI Twins/can

The sled now goes from 0 - 75 mph in 1/16 mile and tops out, I love it for everyday, I think it,s perfect.
First time at a drag race event last weekend.......no fun with this set up. I got put in the mod 800 class and lead the feild in every run......to half track, then lost buy a lenght or to at finish line.

Help.....I hate losing......open to suggestions....I am thinking gearing ?????

You need to gear up taller just 1 or 2 on the chart ' tonite I will have numbersfor you.

definitely gearing, as i'm sure you already know. must have gave the other racers fits, till half track though.


must have really hurt when all those doo's were going by waving BYE BYE haha.
