08-2010 Summit XP a arms onto a Renegade?

I have someone with a Renegade that rides mostly in the mounains looking at buying my 2008 Summit X front a arms, ball joints and steering rods, will his spindles work with a Summit a arms, Is this a worthwhile upgrade to make a Renegade narrower, If my S-36 kit is 36 what is a stock 08-2010 XP width?, What is a Renegade and FreeRide width?
