I know your hemis not great on fuel cause i have one but that 6.0 will be horrible. Unless you legally want a deck on your truck no advantage.

I own a 06 1500HD with the 6.0L gas engine and there around 15mpg. Not sure why ur considering changing trucks for a year older and basically the same Kms. You wouldn't be gaining much other than hauling capacity but I would suggest just putting air bags on your truck and at least you know what you got rather than a different truck with other potential problems.
