we got an 03 rmk, sweet machine to ride, alot like my s chassis summit, but way more torque than the 670, has been fairley good as it was a summer auction buy, had to do the top end in it but because of snow dusted slugs, has been stretched to a 156 2 1/4, and i am now adding extros to it. but good machine overall.

Got an 03 VE 800 with mixed feelings, maybe just a little frustrated this winter. Really fun machine to ride with loads of power, WHEN it's running. I won't blame Polaris for problems I've had, each maker has their lemons. No different than a GMC fan bashing his buddy's Ford that broke down. Very fun sled though, hope I haven't discouraged you.

Last fall i purchased a 02 RMK 800 with 3600 miles, machine was awesome, ran it in the mountians 700 miles, then clang clang clang. Crankshaft snapped on a conn rod bearing. $1500 for a rebuilt.

yep right around 3500 miles. get the rebuild with the big bearing kit and good to go for another 3500..
great machine to ride . great for side hilling and climbing!
other problems ive had were exhaust valve diaphrams torn. easy fix and inexpensive.
also had to tape around headlight on big powder days or she is eating snow!
