Who is this "Imdoo'n" idiot that keeps bashing??? Kid's like this make this sight less likely to prosper.

Scotty

the kind that doesn't come on here and brag about high speed races in a subdivision, no wonder the general public hates quadders, glad you got a rocket ship, maybe bring it out to the rimbey races and see where it stands, lol. bring battery!

looks like I passed your maturity level a long time ago

I am guessing he is like the other older S&M few that live there lives through this forum by the looks of things.
Discovered smart phones a few years ago and can't put them down between texting and posting?
Before that they wouldn't own one ? Lol
All in good fun

We are all on the same page here, we love our atv's. When we spend a pile of money on our purchase, it is because that's what we want to buy. It becomes our toy, we share it with our kids, hunt with it, plow snow etc. When someone bashes it online we just have to say "what Ever". I enjoy my TCat, been great so far. Fast, yes ..... I never said it is the fastest, and it isn't these days. But I have fun with it and that's all that friggen matters.

I once had it out with imdoo'n over some comments made but have since learned he isn't a bad guy just has a sense of humour different then mine.
I've also learned on these forums that lots of people love what they ride and try to bug others that ride different brands.
Me being a Cat guy have heard it lots from the Doo guys over the years but that's just their opinion and after they pay way more than the other brands for the same basic product they gotta justify it as apparently being the best.
Just my opinion!
I do wish I went and bought the 1000 over the 700 though!
Cheers!

thanks for this thread... it made my day! some great laughable comments.... dont get me going about power... haha

i did notice a post that someone made about a xt outlander ... have 90 hp???? .. we talking crank or rear wheel cause i tell you a xt outlander with a 1000 pushing 90 on the rear wheels dont just have a FEW mods... and a 1000 can am with 90 on the rear wheels will blow you away way more then 4 quad lengths... believe me... something is not right here... now if its 90 crank... then i can believe the 4 lengths at 100 k...

by dealer and magazine stats... yes the 1000 scramber is the fastest... at the battenfelder rodeo we have a team... they call themselfs the "4 guys"... they all have scrambler 1000's ... all 4 riders on the team have them.... in the stock class stock for stock the scrambler has not taken a first place finish in the 300 ft sand drags for the 3 rd year now... we run with pro nhra lights and ET and staging sensors.. it seems anyways up at the rodeo the stock 1000 can- ams are a tad quicker.... not so by what you hear in the magazines...

and getting back to the Artic Cat 1000.. for the general consumer its a good quad... just it does not fair well at all in any professional racing in the US... its left behind no matter what rider gets on it...the technology in the popo and can am strump Arctic Cat... they are not even in the same league... the popo and can am out corner, outmenovor and have more power then any Aritc cat out there.... and 90% of all GNCC quads are not modified at all... if they are its mainly a slip-on pipe... sometimes clutching and a tuner which really does crap all for hp ... just keeps your engine happy...

looking at the Mud racing scene and ARtic cat does not exist...

i think why the negative comments is that you came here and raced a 800 can am... stock for stock ... yes you will beat it... no question... but what is fast? fast is a word that is very open ended....

Ok, I have an '09 tcat. Old now these days. It is fast compared to most out there. I am aware that there are a lot of 1000's that are quicker no doubt. Compared to most big bore atv's it goes like snot. That's all I care about. I can't purchase the latest and greatest every year so I make do with what I have. And it has been a great machine for me and my boys. Hasn't cost me a penny yet.

I seriously question who the "idiot" is .....! If you had a thundercat ( possibly the worst handling quad of all time) up to 85 mph on pavement ( let alone ) hardpack , you are not the brightest bulb in the string of lights...

Cat quads are meant for slow trail riding , not high speed runs at 140 k as you claim....
Looks like your boys enjoy the out doors , ride safe and set a better example than that for them.

If your happy with the Cat , great we are all happy for you ..! But please don't try and fool the rest of us old boys on here...lol
We were not born yesterday.... Cheers !

That's really fast.

I know a pipeline that is hard packed with jumps.

Be a good spot to see it go 85
