What is the best upgrade to a 2003 RMK 800

I have a 2003 RMK 800. It has:
V Force 3 reeds
SLP AIR Horn kit
SLP Flo Rites
SLP Boost Bottle
SLP 140/340 drive spring on drive clutch
Dalton 44/77 secondary spring
Ported stock track


My debate is this, I dont want to sink a pile of money into the sled cause i'm more than likely going to buy a new one. With that being said the sled owes me nothing and will end up in my garage as another toy. I am starting to hit the mountains more I did notice a couple things. ONe being in the soft powder the stock track does well. In the heavier wet snow my sled liked to trench as oppsed to pick up and go. I also noticed when loading my sled into the trailer the lugs were very flexible and flattened out easy. Are the stock tracks inherently soft or is my track getting too soft...

The question is do I change the track out? will this make a huge difference? and what track do I change it to or what track workes best on that machine?
Or... is this track just fine.
Do i add extroverts to get the track speed up and pipe the sled to get some extra jam out of it and spin the track faster?

If anybody has experience with these machines and getting them set up really nice I would appreciate the help in making a good descision that will yield the best results for my machine to perform.

my opinion ride it like you stole it for another year. to upgrade track and drivers your looking at a g note, good downpayment on a new one. it works the way it is, a new track won't make it worth anymore money when you go to sell, its a 3500-4500 dollar sled and thats it right now, trade in or sell it + the money you saved on the track your already nearly halfway payed out your new ride.

The tracks are soft but i wouldn't spend money changing it unless you can do the work your self and then switch it back if you go to sell it.Can keep track for next sled. Any money you put into sled will be lost.
Sled is worth the same as is . But if you are going to keep it as second machine then you have to decide if it is worth the money to switch out track.
As far as pipe you can find alot of used ones around for very little money. If running more mountains i would lean towards a single SLP.

I agree with them don't spend money on it if your not going to keep it. If you keep it the two best things I did was upgrade the secondary to a hcx roller with a straight 42 deg helix. Holz drop kit and put a 2.5 camo extreme. No more trenching! It's a completely different sled with the drop kit. Man I miss my edge chassis!

You can also pull the speedo and install a flo- rite gets more air in and no more powder bog. But put a slp single on it too.

OK so I have added the SLP single pipe, and the sled rips SLP's jet charts were out by at least 2+ jet sizes though... I have the opportunity to buy a 2001 Summit 800 151 track in mint cond for cheap. I can do the swap on my own not a big deal. I have heard from a few people this track performs just as well as the challenger anybody done this or seen this?

i have the same sled,roller secondary with a different helix made a huge improvement,see if you can get a used one,slp single pipe also worked vert well, see if you can find a boss hirise seat your riding position so much better

I have a WRP mountain seat 3" rise, it was a great addition.

Hoping to try this track out in valemount this weekend.
