Dropped my x1000 light off the bench in the dry room in Sicamous - nuked it - wouldn't turn on or FA - emailed them a picture of it and a description of what I did and that it didn't work - boxed it up sent to them in Golden - few days later brand new one that seems updated from old one - has a different button than old one - very happy with that kind of warranty - then I emailed them a pic of my snowpulse avvy pack waistband loops starting to bugger up - 4years old - few days later in the mail - new waistband - top frickin notch

For the price of them I would not expect anything less.
This is true - I tried going with a cheaper tac light that claims to be brighter but it's a piece of s**t - mountain labs gear isn't cheap but in the end it's worth every penny I think - my big joke with my buddy is that - everything for sledding - prices are made up by throwing numbers in a hat and the highest number pulled always goes first

I got the exact same light as the mountain lab for under $40. I didn’t get the cool case or mounts but I had GoPro mounts already. I compared it side by side with a friends light. It’s the same.

Also at the sled show they inflated their prices. Even with their buy two or more pricing it was higher than you pay online with free shipping.

It was on sale when I got it. It’s $50 regular. We compared it to the mountain lab. We couldn’t find any difference.

How do you get the GoPro mount on it?
The x1000 from mountain labs has the nifty GoPro mount - need to see if a person can get that piece seperately - I might try stopping in there at Golden on the way through and see if I can get some or not

Can't you get the mount from Franensled? Would it fit?
He seems only interested in selling the complete kit. I tried getting just a battery and light from him as mine dissapeared last year... wouldnt budge and would only sell me the kit.
