It was a good day yesterday. Snow was great and I got to do some proto-type testing of our latest Phantom Teth-Air

I also got to ride an 18 AXYS 174 and a 18 Cat 153.

The 174 AXYS was a pleasant surprise because I thought it would be a beast and it handled nearly equal to my 163. The Cat felt much more Polaris like and that is a good thing because the last one I rode was a 16 and I did not like that. The power was good but acceleration was about equal to my clutched and geared AXYS. It is only after it got going that the extra power was evident because it kept accelerating beyond a point that the Polaris would hit a wall in that deep snow. For me and my type of riding I don't think I would get into that power as much as I ride much slower these days as I am not as young as I used to be. The young guys that ride at twice my speed sure took advantage of it though and made that thing dance.

Anyway here is a bit of a boring video but it does show conditions and it also shows the Phantom shutting down, as it should, due to roll over, at the end of the video.
