My first ride on it but girlfriend used it a couple times so just easy rides. I'll check injectors. Had a lot of broken reeds on this sled and they usually affected the bottom end but I won't rule it out.
I'll try wording this different.
1st ride sled started burning an excessive amount fuel. Seemed to be running as good as normal just burning a lot of gas. What could cause sled to suddenly burn way more gas??
Didn't look at anything as snow was good and wanted to ride so..
2nd ride. Sunk...
I have a 2007 M8 that I use as a backup sled. Took it out for ride and seemed to be running good but it turned into a real fuel pig. Actually ran out and had to borrow gas from others that were between 1/4 and 1/2 tank.
Next day I had to skip a creek to get around an avalanche that blocked...
Any reed problems I've ever had affected the bottom end more than anything else so I haven't even considered them on mine since they are fairly new. Changing reeds is probably good idea anyways as Cats like to chip em.
Put my sled away last year and gauge worked fine. Fired it up once mid summer still worked but now there is no power to gauge. So far I've checked connections and tried plugging in a spare voltage regulator. Any other ideas? Thanks
Just wondering if any experienced snowboarders have tried using Klim Adrenalins for snowboarding? I've come to realize that after eight years I'm never actually going to lug around my skis, boots, and poles with me on my sled. So I figure more likely to take a snow board with me and throw in...
Just lost the motor on my 2012 Pro with about 3400 miles on it. At the start of this season (2850 miles) I put a fix it kit in with Wossner pistons and ended up getting a new cylinder right at the end of my warranty as I found the stock rings didn't have enough clearance and had scarred the...
Thanks for replies. Unfortunately for me I find anything that the goggles go over- balaclava/ deflector etc eventually fog up lenses in cold conditions by drawing some moisture upwards.
I just purchased a new Motorfist helmet and am very disappointed with the "breathbox" design. It might work for lake cruising but in the mountains I need somewhere for my breath and snot to drip. I cut the bottom shelf out and its better, but I still don't like the fact that it depends on your...
Don't waste any money on Walker Evans. They are junk. I went through a couple rear track shocks and a front track shock. The body bulges out so you may not see oil but they are blown. I don't jump but I do ride the trails hard on the way in.
Don't know who decided cariboo were so important. I get way more saisfaction out of seeing cougar (twice) and wolves (3 times) in the wild than an ugly version of Rudolph.
Caribou moved 1,300 km to boost southern B.C. herd - News - MSN CA
Wow $10000 per animal and wolves and cougars tryng to survive and have a meal will be destroyed???
It's a shame that people had to put up with a rough trail for the week due to the snow drags. Were all these trailers coming to town all week carrying highly modded race sleds and getting ready for their few second rush? Or maybe they were paying all this money to enoy the epic snow we had...
Took both my shocks out and removed springs. The rear shock compressed nicely and rebounded slowly. The front shock was hard to compress and shot right back out. There was no sign of oil leaking or anything so something let go inside.
To be fair I called them at the last minute since I had some time and they snuck me in for the recall repair. I didn't really explain the problem that well or push the issue as it was the end of the day and I was in a hurry.
Nope. Just spring preload.
I asked when getting my oil line recall fixed if this was normal and was told they just ride rough on the trail and to get a Rush if I wanted smooth. Didn't think this seemed right since it felt ok for first 600 miles.
No it "tops" out when the back of the sled goes over the crest of the bump. As I'm dropping inot the next trough the rear of the sled seems to slam up. And as I stated these aren't large bumps.
