I have come up with a way of locking the short tapers in the canam clutches . The slip that happens when the hammer is down is the prime reason they destroy belts . Once the taper is locked and it has no more slip the belt temp goes way down and the performance goes up . I have a patend for this...

If you want easy horsepower,balance your primary clutch.I did my 07 summit x 800r and after the balance job i had to add 3 grams of weight to each arm. Thats a good horsepower gain.Im happy with the results.

I was wanting to figure out why the newer 800 sleds are getting longer engine life than our old iron.I believe its because the new sleds have better balenced parts, i built a tool to check the clutch balance on two of my sleds,well no big suprise,one was 13.5 grams out and the other was 6.5...

2006 summit with high RPM flutter 7800 to 8000. Sounds like a rev limiter, We have tryed everything and we need help. Any one with any ideas will be appreciated. Dealer can't even help.

i have 2006 800rev that stutters twice and then its ok , I changed spark plugs , spark plug caps and changed the coil, but it didn't fix it now whot????
