The engine runs fine and you can start it with the electric start and it’s fine. It’s something in the recoil I just can’t figure out what part it is. What makes the mechanism in the recoil move over so it catches the dog on the engine?

A friend of mine found that I had put a k&n type air filter on it and when you do that it gets way more air and either need to put a bigger jet in or put the stock air box back on.

Have u tried setting the valves. I have read a few people with this kind of problem and that seemed to fix them up. But they also talk about fuel pump. But it seems to be more of an issue when it warms up. It feels like a fuel issue. But maybe it is electrical.
