I use "Canada Maps" for a topo map and to record my track on a .kmz file - and Google Earth to zoom in and see aerial photos. I have thought about doing this on a tablet but haven't figured out where to put it on my sled or how to keep it waterproof. It would be so handy to have in on the sled...
What are your thoughts on the stock throttle bottle injectors for aftermarket turbo kits? Is this going to make it easier or harder to program the fueling?
Can you guys take a photo? Is it just the lever bracket that is plastic or the cam/mechanism that shortens the strap?

I have had a couple hard handguards in the past and they never survived more than a couple rolls. I use a soft set of velcro handguards - moose racing makes them. They only work for wind protection - but lets you wear thin gloves all day long. I can't find a canadian distributer for them though...
In my heated under hood google compartment I find that the googles get warm but are still full of warm moist air - the airflow idea with or without the electric heater could be a big improvement?
From an xp &xm owner this is a no brainer (assuming it works)! Pretty exciting as it is a low low cost upgrade to see how a rotating skid works on a pro... Could be huge as the tmotion has been a big seller!

QUOTE=~Rowdy~;1951562]Well when I got the call from HRT Offroad to tag along on a May Long Sled trip sled camping at a cabin...I couldn't say no. Headed past Fernie and up the mountain for some off roading adventure to get to the snowline. Had to skimmer all supplies up the hill, shovel out an...
I change boots once I get to the alpine. I used AT boots with rubber soles in the past and the improvement was only marginal. After a few sessions the rubber DIN sole started to get thrashed.
Big bag in my tunnel rack for the boots strapped down works pretty well. THen as a back up plan you...
With a POS ramp I've almost killed myself in the past. I think loading a sled is the most dangerous part of your day with the wrong gear. I have seen the revarc in action and it is very slick!
Great review, I think this design is a must-have. I'd like a ground extension for my sled deck ramp...
I jack up the back of the sled for summer storage to unweighted the suspension - or put a 2x4 between the paddles to prop it up off the ground. The reverse track is a good summer project like mentioned above.

Welcome to the insanity! I've been at the sled skiing operation for a few years, it is a lot of fun but the logistics are sometimes tricky. Like mentioned above a good rack is essential - I ended up modifying a CFR rack then building my own to get a streamlined fit with rockered skis. I highly...
