I found the same thing. I have only had 3 or 4 times (knock on wood) where I have needed any more that a ski tug or a quick rollover and back at it. Huge difference from the mpi viper I was on last year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I snowchecked a sidewinder mtx in last years snowcheck. I am so impressed with it and every time I ride it I love it more. I ride deeper into the trees than I ever did on my doo and the guys I ride with are all shocked by how it handles in the tight trees Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

While I agree the viper is a good sled... it's actually the sled that turned me from doo to Yamaha.... the geometry changes mentioned above coupled with the power that pulls hard all the way through make the sidewinder have a much more nimble feel. I find the SW easier to maneuver with the angled steering post vs the vertical one on the Viper
