So I replaced the speedometer sensor in my M7 because the old one's wire was damaged. I got a used sensor from the dealer off of an unknown model diamond drive. Now when I'm riding the sled the speedometer reads like 160 miles per hour on the analog and digital when driving down the trail, which...
Thanks for all the help guys, turns out I had 2 issues. First I got the pressure tester and immediately the bottle leaked around the sealing surface. So I replaced the bottle. Then testing the system again I saw coolant on the floor. Unfortunately this was from the dreaded hose that is in the...
I have a 2005 m7 and the other day the engine light flashed on me for overheating. So it appeared to me that one of the hoses slipped off the bottle and was leaking coolant, I fixed this with a hose clamp. So now when I ride it, it very slowly looses coolant, it does not appear to leak in the...
A it sounds like this is not a good way to reduce your fuel pressure. Looks like an adjustable fuel regulator would be needed to do it the best way. Thanks for the response
I know this is an old thread but I was wondering if this jet in the fuel like actually worked and was safe to use? I saw this video on youtube:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTIyC7QVPfk and was wondering if you set the gauge before or after the jet in the fuel line?
Thanks
Just wanted to say thanks to all for the responses. Turned out to be the other switch. Someone had put dielectric grease in it and it was shorting out the contacts. Cleaned up the switch and works good as new!!
disconnected the warmer and no change, I checked the switch with an ohm meter and the switch works fine as well. I measured the wires the switch plugs into and for the brown and green with black I got 0 ohms and for the brown with green and white I got 3 or 4 ohms. on my friends 2006 m7 on the...
Hi all, I have a 2005 M7 and when I turn on the left hand warmer on low the headlights and gauge cluster die and loose all power but the sled still runs. The high setting and the right warmer seem to work fine, (not sure if they get hot, I just got the sled). I used an ohm meter on the warmer...
Hi all, I'm new to the sledding world and was wondering where a good place to buy parts is, besides a dealer. I'm in the US so I don't know if that changes anything. I have noticed that there is no online place that sells parts that isn't a dealer. I'm used to dirt bikes where I could go to...
the "drive nubbies" are your track pitch. The new tracks have a 3.0 in pitch, im not sure what your sled has but if its the same and the paddles clear the tunnel it should work, you could also change drivers to have a 3.0 pitch if yours is different.
yes it was just as you had said, i couldn't see it with the skid plate off, so i stuck a piece of paper under the motor and on top of the "frame" and ran it for a bit to see if the coolant got on the paper and it did, so i began tearing into the water pump from there.
