That could be the South Esk trail ,or there was an old Indian trade route that ran from Alaska down to the US, it runs down through hinton, kind of cool, but pretty well gone now.
Anybody know of trails that have some history to them like the old rail line at Nordegg. Like to do more riding into maybe old town sites or other rail lines.

take the highway to edson then south to robb and head up the cadomin road (40). after you get to the rail road tracks overpass,about 8 or 9 kms, you hang a left on the pembina haul road( weyerhauser) follow that for about 40 or 45 kms, you will come to a " T " intersection, go right for a mile...
oh yeah, high and flowing pretty good ,plus it had rained on monday when we were in to the falls , the problem is some of the channels were deep , i had to ride the wifes big bear as it tended to want to float away in the current. with the heat the water levels should be dropping if no more rain...

Thanks guys,seen that sign it makes more sense, is it hilly trails that may be a little difficult for less experinced riders?. the road in to the camping area looks kinda narrow from the road and does have a BP sign on it,its good enough to pull a camper into?
