Great to hear everyone is A-OK from this situation!
On a side note: is McBride truly booked up this weekend? Been phoning around since Sunday evening for accomodations for Friday/Saturday night for 3 fellas with no luck.... I haven't stayed in Valemount in 5+ years and plan on keeping that...
Ya as long as the battery depth will fit under the mount, spacers can be added to fit on the length and width aspects - so that battery should be exactly what I need! And the googler shows a couple local shops I will be phoning tomorrow to hunt one down..
Thanks for the info! Cheers!
I can imagine it being a noticeable difference on the lifting - the stock battery is heavier than a guy thinks! I agree, they should locate the battery up front and make the seat storage a thing again!
As title states, has anyone replaced the existing lead acid battery with a lithium replacement or removed it altogether and ran with no issues?
Nothing in the manual states any issues with running without..
I see EarthX makes a lithium replacement for a whopping $370 USD (part #ETX36D), is it...
Rode renshaw Friday, Saturday, Sunday, still tons of untouched areas as the visibility has been poor. The 20-30” reload overnight Friday in the anthills was pretty wicked.
I know it’s a long shot, but if anyone happens to find a black mountain addiction gas can, or a drift innovation helmet...
I have an '08 Hemi that consumes the same amount. I noticed oil around the spark plugs while changing them, so I replaced the valve cover gaskets to no avail. Turns out the valve stem seals are the culprit after having a mechanic friend snoop around at it. Been driving it with this oil...
CO's were out at Renshaw trailhead both Saturday and Sunday, with RC's on Sunday to boot. Lots of fellas waiting in the parking lot both days haha. Checking insurance, registration, plates, the whole bit.
Does anyone know a part number for the fox float air sleeve rebuild kits? (Wipers, seals, float fluid, etc) Been trying to find one and I'm getting different numbers and prices from different dealers, some say they just have full shock rebuild kits, but I just need the air sleeve portion. Fox...
Automotive goop like Pilsner suggested or you could try a wrap of electrical tape over top of your elements to tighten it up. I also suggest the RSI hand warmer elements if you're in need of new ones, half the price of the ones cat offers and they crank out way more heat.

Oil Light flashing and display showing "OIL" but she's geeting oil
I have the same sled and mine will randomly do it on startup sometimes. I know it's getting oil, so I just ride it and it usually clears itself within 5 minutes. If it doesn't clear itself, I'd take a look at the low...
Mine would have been good if I didn't have to beat it with a hammer after heating it up to break the threads loose haha (had to remove it for ceramic coating). From what I've heard it's mainly the wiring at the connector that fails before the sensor itself fails

Bringing up an old thread here, but kudos to whoever originally found this (whether it was you mdwils or whoever)!! Saved me $100 and a trip to the city! Was a simple plug and play on my '11 M8, same connector even!

I'm wondering what everyone is using for tethers on their M series sleds, is everyone going with a tether from cat or is there an aftermarket one that someone can recommend? Also I know that this year of sled requires a normally open tether, so I'm wondering can the key be replaced with a...
It's always good to see all the new gear, sleds, trailers, etc. Personally going to the show for a couple new sets of gloves, boots and probably a couple pairs of goggles.
Sort of bringing up an old thread, but thought I'd post some pics of my sled with the tunnel wrapped! Pretty easy stuff to work with, easy to apply with just 2 people working it on (only experience I have with this sort of stuff is tinting windows on 2 vehicles). Applied it the same way as ajb...
Oh ok, so just bolt on stuff? (Reeds, full pipe setup, bigger throttle bodies?) I already have Boyesen reeds and a can on my sled
