Good idea. If you have ever been in the area when it is not winter you know what is under the snow. Unless you have money to burn I think riding in the conditions that are being reported is pretty dumb (no offense to anyone who has been).

There could be a better reason that I don't know of... I think the big difference is that EFI is more efficient. It's electronic where as with a carb it's just a float valve and a pressure differential. EFI is more complicated, I assume it would weigh abit more because there are more parts...

Well I have an 07 and it has DPM (I think all the revs do?). Digital Performance Management, which handles any issues as far as elevation is concerned. If you are worried about jetting, with DPM you don't have to worry.

You should be able to find an MXZ for around that price, DEPENDING on mileage. My input is to check what I would call the lines on the sled. Where side covers/hoods fit together and make sure nothing is way out of whack. If something doesn't look right or fit quite right then something is...
