Good idea. If you have ever been in the area when it is not winter you know what is under the snow. Unless you have money to burn I think riding in the conditions that are being reported is pretty dumb (no offense to anyone who has been).
Cycle works on the southside (by the bmw dealership) had some awesome deals on saturday. Sorry i didn't post sooner but i haven't had a chance. Picked up a last year model polaris dragon snowmobile helmet for 50% off! There was a bunch of stuff like that on sale.
Hey I am on an imac and love it. However things are getting a bit slow. Should I reformat like I used to on my PC or is there a better way of 'cleaning' it up? I do want to keep some stuff though cause I use it for work also.
Thanks
Re: Edmonton Sled Show
I was hugely disappointed in the show again. I haven't gone in a few years and thought I would check it out this year. As usual it's just a bunch of vendors selling items at regular prices.
The only thing I go for now is to see the custom sleds. There's always some...
Hey dude. I am near Edmonton. Send me a message if you want to swap info/get to know each other. Got a few riding partners but I am in the same boat, usually when I want to go it's just me.
No I am trying to get an 04 summit from a guy I know. If I get it, should know early next week ( I have to go out of town for work for a few days) then I will be looking to go this year.
My friend bought a Nytro last year and loves it. It's a pretty weird sled from what I am used to. Also I am a skinny guy so that extra bit of weight the 4 strokes have is really noticeable to me. To him it's not though because he weighs abit more.
The best thing about the 4stroke Yami's, is the...
There could be a better reason that I don't know of...
I think the big difference is that EFI is more efficient. It's electronic where as with a carb it's just a float valve and a pressure differential.
EFI is more complicated, I assume it would weigh abit more because there are more parts...
Well I have an 07 and it has DPM (I think all the revs do?). Digital Performance Management, which handles any issues as far as elevation is concerned. If you are worried about jetting, with DPM you don't have to worry.
You should be able to find an MXZ for around that price, DEPENDING on mileage.
My input is to check what I would call the lines on the sled. Where side covers/hoods fit together and make sure nothing is way out of whack. If something doesn't look right or fit quite right then something is...
I bent the frame on my sled and will be getting parts/repairing in the summer (I am not paying 5k for a shop to do it). I went to the mountains a few times this year and am hooked and have the opportunity to get an '04 Summit cheeeap. However I need people to ride with, my buddies all have short...
