That is the true for sure. Been going to the mountains since 1989 . Now that is dating myself :d Never needed an avy bag yet but why not play it safe. Better to have one and not use it then to need it and not have one.

Hell Yes. Almost all ridders in our 12 person group are using any avy pack of some sort for 4 years now. Also every one has taken an avy course. The classroom and on the hill. Should do a refresher course !!!!

on my first ride [5 days] my stock 2012 163 was slightly over revving to 8300 I used some 10-64 gram weights and ground some material off of the under side and made them 63 grams and the RPM dropped down to a more satisfying 8150 on all of my longer pulls.
