Rip It in Sherwood Park installs lifts that big. priced out an 8" for my 03 F-350 which was $2700 not including labour( note that the 03 is leaf springs all around). Have a 4" right now and it looks good, but looking for bigger.
resistance test will find the problem if there is a broken wire or low resistance( you'll need the spec), but the guarantee test is an AC output test which checks what voltage the stator is pumping out, but you need a special adaptor for an ANALOG multimeter. a digital one will not work for AC...
Same thing was happening to my sled and i just used gas line antifreeze and threw on heavier clutch weights for your altitude and it should perk back up
If you plan on taking the HCR up to the mountains I suggest putting a sno pro front end off because the a arms are just to wide it's way to difficult to toss it around all day.
